MOT Testing at Barrett-Lee

Once your vehicle is over three years old you must get your car tested each year.
MOT tests are an essential part of vehicle ownership, ensuring your car is roadworthy and meets all legal requirements. The test typically takes around one hour, and we can arrange appointments while you wait, subject to availability.

Once your vehicle is on our system, we make every effort to remind you when your MOT is due. While you wait, you are welcome to relax in our comfortable reception area with free customer WiFi.

If your car fails the MOT, any identified defects must be repaired before it can pass. While retests are usually charged, Barrett-Lee offers free MOT retests as long as the vehicle is returned within 10 working days.

In cases where serious roadworthiness issues are found, we recommend leaving your vehicle with us for repairs to be carried out and your vehicle retested.
